Morning Miracle

October 5, 2021

Have you heard of the book “The Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod?
It’s an easy read and essentially he suggests having a morning routine. Something that you do every morning, that no matter how bad your day goes you can look back on and be proud of what you did. Also, it’s cumulative, meaning overtime you will see the results of your efforts.

Hal’s asked at the most highly effective people he knew what their morning routines were, and do you know what?

They were all different.

However, he thought, and this is a little crazy scientist, if he did a little bit of everything that all the high performers did he would improve his life quicker in many different ways.

He ended up creating a routine for himself that he called SAVERS. It involves 10mins each of the following:
Silence (meditation)
Affirmations
Visualization
Exercise
Reading
Scribing

Pretty cool right?

It tried it but it didn’t work for me.
6 things felt like overkill.

I do 4:
15mins Meditation
3 rounds of Wim Hof breathing
20mins stretching my tight bits
Then a run or gym.

I love writing it out and using a real pen rather than my iphone. There is something so satisfying about putting a big tick in a box!

Day 1 of October done!

What’s your morning routine like?
