Ed Paget is an osteopath, writer, presenter, and creator of the Scoliosis Correction Protocol and Back Pain Correction Protocol.
He has spent two decades working with private clients and building a system of assessments and treatments that identify the real source of pain or dysfunction. This approach shaped the first online whole-body scoliosis course, now used by people worldwide. Through his programs and one-to-one coaching, he helps clients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and build confidence in their bodies. He also trains other professionals to use the same methods.
Ed’s work caught the attention of the Canadian National Speed Skating Team, who recruited him for their medical staff. He joined Team Canada at the Sochi Olympics and later consulted for the Canadian Sport Institute. His F.A.S.T. Fascia Activation and Stretch Training method reached national alpine and biathlon athletes.
Working with Ed involves a detailed investigation into movement, habits, health history, and lifestyle. He studies how you move, how you breathe, how you load your body during the day, and how stress, sleep, diet, and mindset influence recovery. He expects clients to take an active role in the process and to be open to change.
Ed has two degrees, one in Exercise and Sports Science the other in Osteopathy.

Ed’s Story
Ed was one of the first osteopaths to practice in Alberta. He helped establish and guide the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Practitioners for a decade and served on the founding board of the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths. He opened Alberta’s first multidisciplinary osteopathic clinic, Intrinsi, and led it through B-Corp certification, one of the only Osteopathic clinic in the world to do so.
Running one of the largest osteopathic clinics in the country came with a cost. After seeing the impact on his own health, he sold the business in 2017 and moved with his family to a small beach town in Nicaragua. The move gave him space to reset, spend time with his children, and live the lifestyle he teaches.
His search for better ways to help people took him around the world. He learned from Indigenous communities in Canada and the Philippines and worked with leaders in the health field, Dr. Terry Wahls, Hinsta, Dr Steven Weiss and Max Girardin. He now hosts the podcast “Your Lifestyle Is Your Medicine.”
Ed continues to explore physical, mental, and spiritual practices to stay aligned with his purpose.
He now works with clients online, in person in Calgary, Canada and runs Scoliosis Retreats + Lifestyle Medicine Retreats in Nicaragua.
Most people turn to massage or standard physiotherapy when they get injured. They usually don’t realise that pain or recurring injuries often come from deeper issues that these treatments don’t fully address. A combined approach using osteopathy, targeted exercises and clear lifestyle changes helps people recover faster and stay pain free for longer.
Your movement patterns matter. Muscle imbalances, weak links and stiff areas need attention. So do your eating habits, sleep quality and daily stress load, because they influence how well your body heals.
When you work with Ed, he studies the full picture and builds a recovery plan that fits your body and your life. He has supported Olympic and World Champions, yet he brings the same focus and energy to anyone dealing with pain, injury or ongoing symptoms who wants real progress.
Over the last 10 years Ed has been building a YouTube library to help people manage their own pain or movement limitations and increase performance through exercise. He regularly adds videos so be sure to subscribe and visit regularly
