WHO CAN LEARN THE SCOLIOSIS CORRECTION PROTOCOL™?

This course is designed for movement professionals, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists/physical therapists, Massage Therapists and Personal Trainers. If you are unsure if your qualifications would be suitable for this course please email your question using the email below.

WHAT IS THE SCOLIOSIS CORRECTION PROTOCOL™?

Managing clients with scoliosis can be a challenge for many therapists and coaches. It doesn’t matter if you are a physiotherapist, osteopaths, chiropractor or a pilates teacher scoliosis management just isn’t taught well at school

The Scoliosis Correction Protocol™ was created to give therapists and coaches an easy 7 Step exercise based tool so that they can offer hope and guidance to both adolescents and adults suffering from scoliosis.

The Protocol is built on the foundation that a whole body, 3 dimensional approach to scoliosis can fill the gap where modern medicine just wants patients to ‘wait and see’, wear a brace or have surgery.

The protocol is designed for slowing down, stabilizing or even regressing scoliotic curves. Participants will be able to select the most appropriate exercises, education and mindset training for their clients by using a frame work based on the following principles:

Physical – how does their body respond to gravity, ground reaction force, mass and momentum. (Gray Institute).
Behavioural – what are their main motivators for the client to work with their scoliosis and how can we utilize them in their rehab?
Biological – what are the most appropriate exercises, nutritional advice and lifestyle modifications for the client?

At the end of the course participants will be able to prescribe specific mobility, strength and endurance exercises for the 4 major scoliotic curves:
1. C – Shape Curve also known as a Levoscoliosis
2.  Reverse C shape Curve also known as Dextroscoliosis
3.  S Shaped Curve
4.  Reverse S-Shaped Curve.

The course is structured around 7 Steps.
Each Step adding more tools to be able to tackle scoliosis. Watch the video below for a sneak peak into the membership area

Reviews of The Scoliosis Correction Protocol™ For Professionals

Diego Gomez,
Osteopath, Spain

“The Scoliosis Correction Protocol™ is an very good tool to work with in practice. On the one hand the online modules are well laid out with detailed explanation and on the other hand there is a full range of exercises that can be adapted to all my clients with scoliosis. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to add this area to their practice”

Dr Gabriel
Osteopath, Australia

“This course first appealed to me because of the ease of doing continued education online.
Once I looked into it I realized that a functional 3 dimensional approach to scoliosis was what I needed to take the management of my scoliosis patients to the next level. I’ve been very impressed by the course and the level of support that goes with it.”

Giampaolo
Physiotherapist, Italy

“I love the exercise based approach of the Scoliosis Correction Protocol™ in adult patients. The online modules are well laid out and easy to follow. It’s given me more confidence helping clients with scoliosis, I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to add this area to their practice ."

Mihir Shah,
Osteopath and Fellow of Applied Functional Science.

"To be able to learn a 3 Dimensional approach to scoliosis online was a real help to me. There are not a lot of opportunities for continued education where I work so the Scoliosis Correction Protocol™ for professionals was perfect. The way Ed has put the program together makes it easy to follow and it contains is a lot of practical assessment and treatment information that I’ve added to my general treatments, not just for people with scoliosis. I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking to take continued education but doesn’t want to or isn’t able to travel."

Richard Robinson, DC
Member of the Canadian Olympic Medical Team 2006, 2008, 2010, 2014

"As a Chiropractor working in high performance sport over 15 years I had not had an opportunity to work with an Osteopath until I met Ed Paget. His clinical skills and innovative treatments were extremely effective but I was most impressed tin his movement based problem solving skills. I liked his ability to tailor specific exercises to correct the athlete’s functional deficit and enhance the performance sport specially which had a very positive effect on our team."

Paul Hunter PT, FCAMPT, CGIMS
Physiotherapist
Medical Director for the Canadian Speed Skating Team at the Sochi Olympics

"I worked with Ed professionally at the highest level of Canadian sport for 2 years and was always impressed by his ability
to go to the source of a movement problem. At the elite level of sport we look for medical innovators, those people that challenge conventional practice and come out with something better. Ed used a variety of non standard movement screens which would be adapted to each athlete to effectively show us and the athlete where there was a problem. His treatments then blended osteopathic techniques with movement rehab to keep our athletes performing at their best."
